Okay,
Well the awesome series I'm reading at the moment is 'Seven Deadly Sins' The first book is Lust. Not to spoil but it is so good it's about 7 (obviously) teenagers that live in Grace in America and OMG it's full on awesome!! I can finish them in 4 days!!! That's how good they are you won't put them down.

BTW:: I don't think BTL is getting old I love it just the way it is ;)

Ah, Swerve. I just received in the mail.

And my parents have thus confiscated it. School's gettin' busier and busier, so I've been stripped of all forms of entertainment. And my sanity.

I WANT MY BOOK.

SWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVE...

*Pants*

SWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVESWERVE...

Maybe I could read it secretly at the school library... :D

You must read wuthering heights, i read it in 2005 when i was 11, i didn't quite understand it but now i do. i totally recomend it

Swerve- Haven't received the book in the mail yet. but can't wait. The blurb looks really good and I'm excited to be put on an action packed journey.

wow i havent been on here in ages... maybe im getting a bit old for it but oh well lol
a good book im reading at the moment is called slam, by....i cant remember his name...nick...someone. he wrote about a boy. anyway, its a really easy read, and quite interesting i think. oh and it involves teen pregnancy, always fun hey? haha

another good book im also reading is petropolis, which might be suitable for older readers, as its about a girl living in a run down town in russia who leaves her old life to live in america as a mail order bride (funnily enough it involves teen pregnancy too...anyone else seeing a trend? i kid) but yeah, great book thus far

and one more thing
i get the impression most people on this site are major twilight fans...and ill admit that two years ago i myself was. however i would like to encourage everyone to broaden their horizons- theres more to life than vampires and werewolves. also, i find its total overkill now the movies been released. i mean, come on, the meadow scene was meant to be way cooler than the film depicted it to be
i also pictured edward to be way hotter
but i also think most people who love twilight still are lagging behind; come one guys, pick up kite runner, or the cruicible or freaking harry potter for a better read
(twilight fans, dont rip my head off. im just stating my own opinion...)

i recently red the luxe.

it was soooooo boring, no offence to the author but i struggled to finish it.
3 of my friends stopped halfway and another took 2 months to read it. she usually finishes books that thick it a week.

i read finnikin of the rock ages ago and i've read it 4 more times since i love that book and it would be awsome to have as sequal.

Twilight...

my all time favourite book i've read the series over and over. i think i'm on my 6th round.

evernight. i just finished it i loved it soooo much. it had a nice twist and it really caugfht my attention like most of the other books i've read.

I love that series, though i still think the 1st one's the best. Gotta love Jace...

Evernight = awful, apparently.

House of Night series = I actually don't know what to make of this one. It's easy to get 'addicted' to, but then when you reflect on it, it's really... engh... let's just say it's not particularly intellectual...

Mortal Instruments Trilogy = ...Huh? Okay, I've never heard of this one. It's good, eh? I'll trust you on this one, Mad...

Yeah, i read Evernight. It was ok. Starts off sounding V similar to Twilight, then veers way off. I love P.C Cast's books more, Marked, Betrayed and Chosen (so far) they're my new obsession. And yes, they are all vamp books... ;-)

MUST READ the Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold! It's thought provoking, heart-wrenchingly sad but also funny.

Also, for all you vampire lovers (you know who you are) Evernight by Claudia Gray (basically Twilight with the roles swapped)and the Mortal Instruments Trilogy by Cassandra Clare (who doesn't love a little bit of demon hunting?)are fantastic books that keep you hooked until the very last page.

Weeeeell.. I ish reckonin' that we could makes it more... forum-likey-doo. A little more... broad?

AND WE NEED YOUTUBE-BOOK-PARODY VIDS TO LIVEN UP THIS PLACE. I swear, NO-ONE comes on anymore!
Remember Mr. Tumbleweed? He's probably my new best fwend now...

Also, I've gotten into Nickelback again..
They're one of the very few musically talented musicians out there who may, potentially, care more about their work than the money that pools around it.

BTW: here's a question for you all - what's the most cringe-worthy, long, tediously arduous assignment you've EVER encountered?

Mine = science project + worth 50% of grade...

Righty-o. I think that was random enough.
Keep on reeeeeaaadin', my lovelies!

(I found a few new comments on the most recent Book blog! Yaaay!)

Okay, I'm good. Going to watch the rest of Centre Stage now...

Keep reading! (And watching awesome films!)

CHYEAH! *Fives Missa*

Twilight sucked. Indeed it did...

...Wait.... how is New Moon a news headline?

"The Twilight Saga's New Moon"... they're writing about the logo... oh woot... pfft. Saga.

I'm not being very coherent, am I? Ah well... lalaaaa...

looke smells chyeahh boy (:

yay! I finally remembered to pop back in >> Bad Missa for not checking.

Anyway, I've read the Ranger's Apprentice series. I own all eight books, all sit in a place on honour next to my shakespeare. Loved them, absolutely adored the idea of something small and different.

The Twilight Movie? Ugh. The only scene I felt good about was the last bit where Bella met up with James and the Baseball. The casting, so, so. I loved Kirsten Stewart as Bella, but the dude who played Carlisle looked freaky, and Jasper looked freaky too. Alice though? omg, I was so happy with that casting, was she not just perfect? Got really annoyed with the movie, the school bits. It's supposed to be all fun, flirty and secret, they sped that up a bit too much... Felt really... squished. James was cute though =P.

Another book some people might like is the series I'm into now. Daughter of teh Empire, Servant of the Empire, and there's a third one, I think it's Mistress of the Empire. Any way, they're far more adult than Twilight, and the language and plot line is far more indepth and thought out, but fascinating. It follows a young Ruling Lady, Mara and her struggles in the Game of Council. Fighting to stay alive and all that. Really very good books.

yeah... where is everyone?

Is it me or is BTL very ghost-town like these days?

*Tumbleweed rolls past* O.o

.....

I gotsta get me a shirt that says...

FANGIRL HUNTER.

And thanks Bianca for the comment. Score right now:

Love: 1. Hate: 0. Neutral: Also 0. Haven't even seen: 0.

Yes he may need to pluck his eyebrows but seriously , who focouses on them when there in a movie , yes there bushy but get over it !
LOL
soory !
rofl
anyways
loved the movie ., left out a couple of important scenes and they needed to slow things down a bit just to compare to the book but otherwise it was really good !

Let's take a poll.

WHO WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE TWILIGHT FILM?

I haven't even seen it yet, but the trailers seem... blech?

So people, gimme some sort of incentive to view the film. Something that does NOT involve "Spunk-Ransom's hotness" - damn fangirls. Can't you tell that HE. NEEDS. TO. PLUCK. HIS. EYEBROWS??!!

Lol.

I'm gonna go be productive now.

Is anyone else dying to read the next Kate Brian book Paradise Lost (Private, Book 9)!!! i can't wait !!!
